The brand-new Desire Resort & Spa Los Cabos is located at the southern tip of Mexico's thousand-mile long Baja California peninsula where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean near the colonial town of San José del Cabo and a mere15 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport (Airport code: SJD).
Los Cabos is a beautiful, rugged area, which has retained its air of remoteness even though it is easily accessible via its modern international airport. Attracting Hollywood 's finest since the '40's, it has grown and flourished into an exclusive luxury destination. Today, 'A-list' celebrities and well-heeled vacationers continue to enjoy its mountainous, desert beauty and its exciting craggy shoreline.
The Los Cabos region derives its name from the area's two towns: Cabo San Lucas has a reputation as a party city, and San Jose del Cabo is known for its more sedate, cultural ambience. The 'Cabo Corridor,' a 20-mile long roadway connecting the two towns, has developed into an upscale destination of its own, with five-star luxury resorts, golf courses and fashionable shops.

If you rent a car::
As you leave the airport take the main exit, immediately turn to the left and then stay on your right. Follow the signs to "Cabo San Lucas Cuota" and drive for 15 more minutes on the toll road (it will cost you approximately USD$3.00). After you pay the fee drive for about 3 more minutes and take the left exit to "San Jose Centro", (the smaller exit) then drive around the traffic circle to the Hotel Zone, just beside the "Mega Comercial Mexicana" mall. Then take the Blvd. Malecon San Jose and on the left at km 0.5 you'll find Desire Resort & SPA Los Cabos
